I know it doesn't matter much but does anyone know what the announcement system on the Flexity Freedom will be? Will it be something similar to the Toronto rockets or the Flexity outlook streetcars?

You can fix that with platform screen doors.
Below is an street-level tram. Has a dedicated right of way and fully enclosed stations.

If doing that, they might as well make it high platform. High-floor vehicles, more capacity.
The ramps just have to be longer at the stop/station exit.

Honestly the whole high floor LRVs is now a dream. Almost all if not all new systems/lines are built with low floor LRVs.
