The trackwork seems to be going well Eglinton in the east end. They are pouring the guideway this week from Warden to Birchmount.

Anyone have any inkling on when they may start pouring the guideway across the Birchmount and Eglinton intersection?

No idea but the ionview area won't start until 2020

Eglinton and Bermondsey is completely closed and torn up. They must be pouring there right now. You have to get to Eglinton through Credit Union Dr.

According to schedule on page 17 of the presentation here (http://www.thecrosstown.ca/news-media/whats-new/eastern-works-open-house), they are currently planning for the closure of the intersection at Birchmount and Eglinton in July and August of this year.

Makes sense considering that part should should see lots of work this year from what I understand.

Not sure how much of this was a joke or not but the Dome is more than likely not switching over to natural glass.

The whole section from Thermos to Ionview is set up for imminent construction based on the placement of cones and so forth. The schedule says July/August but I would expect it to start sooner.

I was more worried about salt than summer drought.

I got some vide the other day of the construction work at Don Mills they have the walls up on both sides of the entrance and exit ramps for the crosstown you can really get a sense of how large the station will be by the space between them.
