What a stupid name. This stop should be named Ferrand. And if they must name it after Aga Khan, why couldn't they call it "Aga Khan", rather than "Aga Khan Park and Musem". This is the Steeles West Pioneer Village fiasco all over again.

i don't even mind pioneer village because i know they're trying to avoid having stations with east or west at the end, but what was wrong with ferrand?? there was no station named this and there probably never will be

I thought the ttc was getting rid of streetcar stops in front of religious buildings to speed up routes

Only the Sunday stops. There are many stops that are still in front of churches, where streetcars stop every day. Church Street comes to mind.

Partially true. The Ismaili Centre isn't part of the museum. It's more church - with a prayer hall and community space.

Perhaps we should only stop at Pearson Airport on Sundays, it has a chapel built into it.

Though it's non-denominational - so perhaps Fridays to Sunday. Any other religions to get Monday to Thursday? Do they do Vespers?

IMO I think it'd be wise to group all the stops in one thread. We should definitely try to make each unique, and put some artistic flair around them like St Clair. But as far as design goes these are just surface stops that are little different from one another.

And do the tracks rise a bit at each stop? Might be an illusion, but the platform's vertical distance above the adjacent road level looks somewhat high for a low floor vehicle. If the tracks do in fact rise a bit, maybe that's a good idea since it provides more protection for those standing in the middle of a highway-like arterial. This is a key reason I like high-floor/high-platform LRT systems.

Looks nice, though I have to wonder how Vaughan got away with those fancy stops for a bus line, while this is pretty barebones by comparison. Also I'm curious why they went for two platforms on either side rather than one center platform, though thats not really a big deal.
