Didn’t know where to put this piece of interesting news. I gather that central Oshawa is really doing well with lots of investment in all sectors. This is just the latest but is a needed facility and a vote of confidence!

Hard to imagine this dumpy ass blue collar city having any sort of metamorphosis into a cool place...

Quite a lot of nightlife and events. Lately Oshawa has been making a good argument for the benefits of a small city. The downtown is still bleak but lots of signs of new life.

The population of Central Oshawa was 26,500 in 2021 and had an 8.5% growth rate over that period. Since then several projects have opened so expect similar growth for next census.
