Good evening all,

I wasn't sure where to post this and the search function didn't seem to bring up any existing threads.

I am very excited for this project to finally have started construction, if only site works and creek relocation in preparation for actual site works and development.

It seems to me the actual design of the track is not yet finalised or at least has not been publicly released. Several different news releases state different size of track, grandstand capacity etc. This development had several hurdles but the appropriate approvals have now passed the OMB (twice) and construction has begun.

I was hoping with all the expertise on this board there may be others with more information.

Things are still moving ahead and slowly tackling each challenge as they present themselves. Recently it has been land acquisition and although I don't know how that is going the next hurdle is a commitment from the Government of Ontario to redevelop the Bowen Rd & QEW Interchange. I am confident they will get the commitment but like all these things it will take a considerable amount of time.

CMS has also opened a new office in Fort Erie to work out of and I also assume to raise awareness.
