That's criminal. If it's not in the Criminal Code, it should be. With a minimum sentence.

Yeah, the offender should be waterbagged with what was served. It was brutal - esp. since I was off a trans-pacific flight arriving at 6am local... And that's the way they kept on serving tea at Tim's for the longest time.

That's like the first cup of tea I had in Toronto (at the Tims, no less) - it was rather disappointingly weak, doubly so the way they served at the store (milk first, teabag then lukewarm water). Yuck.

There used to be alot of 'Newfies' in Scarborough around Eglinton and Bellamy/Markham rd area in Scarbs in the 80s. Many moved out back East I think or just plain stopped coming after the demographic (jobs too?) shift in the 90s.

I know the Eton House dive on the Danforth (at Eaton Ave) used to be a big Newfie hangout, not sure if it still is.
