Are you now or have you ever been a member of a political party?

I've been a member of the NDP in the past, and backed Peggy Nash (and then Brian Topp) in the last leadership race. Provincially I last baked Michael Prue and then Peter Tabuns.

I let my membership lapse after Mulcair became leader, but I may rejoin if they have another leadership race.

I have at times voted Green, including for provincial candidate Tim Grant in Trinity-Spadina (who I know personally) but have never been a member of that party.

ETA: And can a mod please fix the typo in the thread title?

Similarly I've been an NDP member in the past. Actually voted for Layton was back in the 2003 leadership race and then Mulcair more recently. I'll probably rejoin if (when) there's another one.

Of this past election, I'd say that it was a disappointment (aside from the end of Harper), but then as a fairly long-time NDP supporter I've also been used to losing.

I have never registered as a member of a political party and never will. When it comes to voting, I usually go for leader over party.

I've been a provincial and federal Green since 2003.
