Arcade Mall - Yonge St.

Anybody know what's going on at the Arcade Mall at Yonge & Temperance? It looks like all the tenants have gone and they've closed the Yonge St. entrance. This is a huge space for those big box retailers looking for a downtown presence, especially if they also take the lower level, which used to be a supermarket. I'm thinking Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart or Metro. The area is certainly bulking up with condos.

Yea this is the building with the vertical lights on it.

Only the lower portion is available as far as I'm aware but it's still a lot of space ... I think there used to be a book store actually.

There is 5,000 to 25,000 square feet of space available for rent, according to yesterday's ROB.
