Anyone seen anyone dance like this in Toronto?

hahahaha, I've seen this dance before, didn't know it came from Melbourne!

From my observation a lot of the hardcore breakdancers (my cousin being one of them) have incorporated some aspects of the "shuffle" into their dance.

How is the club scene down in Melbourne?

I was thinking of the Elaine dance:

Haha. :lol

That re-run was just on a couple of weeks ago on CITY-TV.

It's nothing but regular breakdance moves in a certain sequence. It ain't half bad, but ain't have good either. I've seen better things in the raves that we had here. Btw, whatever happened to our rave scene? Do we still have one? I remember they were excellent, but I grew out of them so lost touch with what's happening.

"Rave" scene demise questions can be all answered with two words: Julian Fantino.

Give me an "M".........Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Give me an "E"..........Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Give me an "L"...........Llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.

Three words Shawn. ;)

JASON :)

Though i'm sure the mayor and the police had something to do with it, the decline in rave culture had begun where it's almost non-existant now. People returned to smaller venues. Clubs instead of massive convention halls where you were bombarded with advertising and people selling stuff in kiosks. It was getting out of hand.
There are still a lot big parties, but not like before. You loose a lot when the space is so large.
Though still I go back to "Cream" in Montreal every year :)

There were alwasy the big parties at convetion centres like The Better Living Pavilion at the Ex - but there were lots of smaller spaces that hosted parties that were killed by the Fantino/Mel alliance ( you're right jason, mel was part of it ). The demise of those venues/parties led to it going back into the club scene.
