I lost my Casio Exilim camera in High Park today at around 12:30. It was in a black leather case that looked like a wallet. Being super slim, it fell out of my pocket as I was biking by Grenadier Pond. If anyone has any information send me a PM. Thanks.

Well, hopefully you're putting up posters in the park. That's more likely to catch the person who found it than this forum.

Yes, I found it! How amazing that one of the 30 people on this site would somehow come across your camera. I mean the odds had to be....a million to one.

I'm going to place the camera on a bench in another park. I assume one of your friends will see it, recognize it as yours, and get it back to you.

I was given a bottle of cheap Canadian champagne once, as a "thank you" for handing in a lost cell phone at the police station, after the owner reclaimed it. I handed in a wallet I'd found on the Pape bus, and someone wrote a letter to the paper thanking the anonymous person who'd returned it. But I always keep money I find on the street.

But I always keep money I find on the street.
I once handed in some large amount of money (at least 50, probably 100+ dollars) I found in a subway car around Rosedale--just the principle of the thing, with an amount that large. A month or two later, unclaimed, I got the money back--call that a reward on principle.

We're both such saintly figures. I found a cell phone in the subway this morning and handed it in to the driver.

My reward will be in heaven.

Earlier this spring I found a $15,000+ cheque from McLellan & Stewart lying in the gutter at King and Jarvis. I mailed it back to M&S. Eventually I got a nice letter from the payee.
