Moscow looks quite interesting...
Brandon: Good Moscow pics-the weather looked quite nice and the people were out enjoying the City in force-for a place that has rough winter weather.
I noticed the attractive ladies in some pics also. Let me mention these pics:

#10-SBARRO'S in Russia-decent Italian-American food franchise-style-SBARRO'S is a LI-based company and being that I am posting this at a local Apple store in South Huntington,LI at Walt Whitman Mall a SBARRO'S location is just yards away from me!
#19-What is the English translation of TACC?
#32-This building is quite attractive and it must be some government building from the Soviet Union days-what exactly is it?
How did you fare language-wise there? Would speaking English be enough to get by? It is probably quite different there today then in Iron Curtain days.

TACC is cyrillic for TASS, the Telegraph Agency of the Soviet Union, the USSR's version of Associated Press.

Note, I didn't take any of these photos, just wanted to show a glimpse of Moscow. The source is notated.
Actually, Moscow still has a long way to go before it matches the western world. The division of incomes is among the highest in any industrialized nation, they still arrested people for attempting to hold gay pride in 2007 and banned it.
So its obviously got LOTS of problems, but just looking at the architecture, the infrastructure it looks like an amazing place.
Sorry I won't be able to offer details on what buildings are where, but that ESB "looking" building isn't the ESB. The Soviet Union had a knack for creating several buildings that have a sillouette that could be ESB-like.
Buildings like these were built in the 50's:
