The Albany is part of a trial run for those automated drug-dispensing machines - though I haven't used it yet.
There's a guy minding it who explains how it works - you feed in your prescription and chat to a pharmacist in Burlington, or Mumbai, or somewhere, so you can feed your addiction.

It was going to be a new set of urban townhouses, then it was... nothing... then Albany stepped up.
I hope that this means the Danforth desecration is headed for the dustbin.

... though, considering how it's bursting at the seams with users, it functions surprisingly well. Every square inch of space is spoken for, every possible medical service shoehorned in.

Wonderful. I see this everyday when I take the streetcar from Broadview Station, and hadn't figured out what is being built. Looks decent judging from the renders.

Its almost certain to be demo'd
According to certain people.....LCBO has been in talks on moving its Danforth-Broadview store to that site. Last I heard they had not yet come to terms, but we shall see.
