Hey everyone,

Is there any way to add the TTC's personal and renowned typeface/font to MS Word? Has anyone put such a file online?

Thanks,

-Andrew

you can also test out what your text might look like here. Just click on the "Return to the old site" on the top right right corner.

i'm guessing you want something free.

i've found that century gothic is pretty close and only the hardcore transit fans will notice the difference.

Gill Sans looks pretty close apparently. That's in Word 2008 (mac). Not sure about 2007 though..

looks like if you combined select letters from each font type, you could get it close to quadrant.

Yeah, Century Gothic comes pretttty damn close. I've always loved that font.

Is "Quadrant" the name of the TTC font?

No, that's the name of the company who made the only commercial version.

It's just called TTC subway font.

The TTC internally uses a custom typeface that has only capital letters.

If it only has capital letters, then what is this lower-case font on Transit City literature?

one more thing... Comic Sans MS sux... and I hate people who use that font all the time, thinking that it's a formula for making a document look somewhat "funny".
