Excellent Detroit/Windsor pics!

Flar: Excellent Detroit/Windsor pics! It looks like the weather could have not been better and that bottom Detroit wide downtown pic is of picture postcard quality! LI MIKE

That first night time shot of Detroit is really good. Makes the city look inviting though we all know better what its like on the ground.

Poor Detroit, so much potential. It awaits its day of true revival.

Thanks for the pics, flar.

Downtown Detroit is alright and enjoying a slow but steady recovery, sometime I'll have to get some pictures on the ground down there. It's really not as bad as people make it out to be, and the architecture and streetscapes are among the best in North America even after the years of decline.

Definitely, the skyline is beautiful, I love Detroit's skyscrapers. Still, I remember driving through the outskirts of Detroit, and it's far from nice. Excellent pictures by the way. Very crisp and well shot.

Downtown Detroit has had an amazing resurgence just in the last couple years. The transformation in so many areas really is remarkable.

Not a big fan of Detroit's skyline after seeing it several times in person - usually from that classic Belle Isle Park perspective. But someway, somehow, your last photo - what CanadianNational might term a "pan-O-ramic context shot! " - is simply outstanding.

Those “missing teeth†in the skyline may someday be filled, and it might help if these would-be future skyscrapers depart considerably from that John Portman icon, otherwise known as Renaissance Center.
