I recall 8-20 Gladstone being pitched as a land assembly in early 2010.
The entire lot was 151' x 120', at an asking price of $4.7 million.
The seller was using the 2 gladstone planning report to forecast 100,000 buildable GFA.

#8-10 was 45 x 120. #12 was 80' x 120' Given that the proposal is for 86 units and 8 levels, this is likely not the entire lot on offer at the time....perhaps just #8-#12.
Could very well be phase 2 of 2 Gladstone.

West side. This is north of 2 Gladstone. Even numbers are always on the west side of the street (or north side on east-west streets) in Toronto.

Like the Junction, the intermingling of residential and industrial makes for gritty neighbourhoods. So practical to live close to work though!

Haha, I went to a fairly crazy New Year's Party in that grey, crumbling house just a year and 4 months ago. The renters are all artsy, alternative types.

That hideous body shop needs to go.

They are gutting the building now and only weeks away from coming down.

The owner of the body shop left a truck there since its was not worth it to move it or take it to the scape yard.

As for Price Chopper, it may have a new friend if 35 gets bought by the owner since its up for sale now.
