On the upside, Allied is generally known for being sensitive to heritage it owns.

On the downside, these proposals will irrevocably remove certain portions of these heritage properties or alter them in ways that will, at least at the margins, diminish their historical integrity.

Should note, at this point Allied's potential involvement would be speculation on my part - anticipating that as the existing owners of the properties, Allied would be in the best position at this point to come to an arrangement that would involve their future participation in the redevelopment of the site. That is why the question mark after Allied in the thread title.

For reasons you cite, I certainly hope that Allied has an ongoing involvement in the redevelopment of this location.

The "King-Bathurst Station" signage illustrated across the street appears to indicate a station entrance could be included in the 663 King West project on the SE corner as well:

September 16, 2022:

A crew has been in the 662 King Street West building for the past couple of days, doing ground sampling core drilling from the basement. After finishing their work in the 662 King Street building, they are scheduled to move across the street, to 663 King Street West (the Banknote building), for additional core drilling in its basement.

There is also a thread for the 663 King Street building, which is tagged as the Ontario Line-King-Bathurst Station. While both sites will be the two main components of the King Bathurst station, and will be used in parallel for the station construction, ultimately each will have its own separate and discrete residential tower constructed above the station.

Up to the mods if the Ontario Line station related works should be in one thread, while site specific activities for the north and south side properties (such as the current activities and upcoming demolition work, as well as the future residential building construction) should be maintained in their own threads, or some form of merging of the existing threads should take place.
