This is a big upgrade in terms of brand; I've stayed and have been extremely impressed with 1 Hotels in NYC, Brooklyn, and Miami. Big fan; way more up-market than the Thompson.

In the absence of interesting updates due to the trade union strikes, something on a lighter note. It took a few years, but the trees on the Stewart Street side of the 550 Wellington Building have now grown in nicely. Usual complaints about the overhead power lines though.
