50 Queens Quay East (Park) | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto

I guess it is a dog park with two double gated entrances.
Maybe two pickleball courts? Hmm. Didn’t someone already say this about the park?
I assume this could open in the next 7 days.

Yup:
No fountain, but there will be tennis courts in that dirt patch closest to Queens Quay.

Some new plants, trees, tile edging around the court pavement.
Maybe just a fence around the court, a net, some white lines….. a couple of lights, water, washrooms (haha), garbage cans, lots of benches and chairs (more humour)

1,000 times better than the fenced in lot and empty past/future sales centre across the street.

@mburrrrr did you see any indication that anyone put in irrigation?

I'm looking at all those ferns with the same suspicion that I cast towards the Birch trees. Ferns do not like dry or even mesic (average) soil moisture. They prefer a bit damp, especially true in full sun.

The watering system today.

Thnks for that.

Regrettably, no one is going to pay the water truck to come in 2x per week during the warmer weeks of summer. Maybe they found some drought-tolerant cultivars............cough...
