I'm on the fence about this one. The glass curtain lets the heritage building stay prominent, but its proportions still look awkward.
 
Did they really need superkül for this? It's pretty unremarkable. None of the engineering is expressed visually, like any kind of structural work and the like. Nothing's going on with the glazing either. No interesting frit. Nada. "Employment on the Avenues" aside--and I doubt we're going to see independent artists and community activists locating here--it's kind of a nothingburger.

This was a good start and what I'd expect from superkül. Alas...

You've had a madman councillor that has been constantly picking on this, how do you expect after 7 years ' a good design'?
..sorry to say, everything the guy has touched has been watered down to nothing
