I took this photo last week and was wondering if anyone knew anything more about this interesting addition. Wish we would see more of this, especially in more outlaying areas.

Yup, you don't have to be a psychic to predict that building a one-storey, wood-framed addition directly on top of a heritage building that already has a mansard roof is not going to win any architectural awards.
