Shame. Was just talking about that today with a friend.... we know someone who's a member of that co-op who's frustrated and saddened that the venture caved in. Now we're all wondering how long that property will sit idle before a new plan hatches.
 
Scratches head.............no permits pulled on this site.

Tough to tell but it didn't seem like there was any evident shoring work done prior. Also just appeared like the mounds of soil were just brought in from elsewhere, as there wasn't really signs of digging within the site. 🤔

Notable revisions include:
  • The retail unit on the ground floor and all office units have been replaced with residential units. The residential unit sizes and bedroom count have also increased to accommodate larger families allowing for a total of 33 affordable units.
  • In addition to the foregoing, the limited indoor and outdoor amenity area has been eliminated to maximize the number of affordable housing units, while reducing the long‐term maintenance fees for purchasing lower income households. The subject site is ideally located within a 400 metre radius of the Fairmount Park Community Centre, an accessible City facility that provides a number of registered and drop‐in programs.

The retail that's nearby isn't exactly thriving. Though there's a good argument to be made for including some community-oriented retail spaces to provide an ongoing revenue stream to support further affordable housing

Did no else notice the liberty taken by rendering artist?

It's not merely that the Gerrard Streetcar is replaced by buses.................they removed the tracks!
 
The SPA still shows as 'under review' though I don't see anything new submitted in the last year.

There are no live applications for permits for this site.
