under construction condo building in suburban Hamilton at 2782 Barton St E. Apparently has a crane now and is completed excavation, though no photos. The building is approved at 14 storeys in height, though the developer recently filed a new zoning by-law amendment application to increase it to 17 storeys.

Pretty astonishing stuff when Barton St is getting something that looks better than half the trash that's about to go up in Hamilton's downtown core. Never thought i'd see the day.

LJM Tower update - Crews now working on 15th floor and two more floors to go and since I last visited it was 10 floors built on June 19. I hope it will get toped off by August.

Looks weird to see something there that big, I used to take the bus to st agnes elementary school, which is behind it in the heart of that subdivision, to and from that route every day and iirc it was always just an empty lot..
