Cool proposal. Now if anyone can propose the redevelopment of the Scotiabank theatre, Richmond between John and Peter might have Toronto's most interesting buildings.
 
Note: That's the Hyatt Regency, not the Park Hyatt (at 4 Avenue Road, which is closed for the moment). At least the address is correct.

Thoughtful and pretty tasteful scale transition down to Queen Street + preservation of the existing building. Hard to ask for more. Hopefully it all goes well and it would be cool to see more of this around Toronto's low-rise main streets. The proposal at the SW corner of Queen & Peter is similar.
 
The 45 degree thing is such utter 'Planning-fart-smelling' horseshit. There are elements of the Queen HCD that make some sense, but this is garbage.
