Wow, that looks nice! I do find the towers on the generic side but they do have nice design elements.

Do we know if office building(s) are proposed for phase 2? The ghosted-in renders look like residential buildings to me. (I'm hoping for office buildings.)

Yes I understand what you are saying . But the tower that is catching my attention is the second largest tower. I love the way the podium blends in with the tower above with the tan columns and and light blue windows. That alone looks a little better that what they're build at the LCBO lands right now !

The floorplate and floor to floor heights shown in the rendering certainly suggest office.

The western building could be office. The balconies on the eastern building suggest residential. In any case, they are preliminary and I don't think they are conclusive either way. The Planning Rationale Report says Phase 2 will be office, residential and commercial, without any indication of how much of each. So yeah, we'll see whenever they end up submitting the zoning/site plan applications.

I don't think it would be fitting for Toronto waterfront, but I do have to laugh at having to now add the City of Vaughan to the list of 905 municipalities with interesting (at least when compared to Toronto) condo architecture.

By the folks who build SmartCentres no less.
