This is currently the site of CBM concrete plant, across the street from Expo City / (future) Cosmos condos.
A new application was registered in PlanIt on March 8: "Residential development consisting of 2 residential towers and mixed use".

Liberty has had a "Development coming soon" sign on this site for years. Looking forward to what is proposed.

Hot off the tails of their cancelled development across the street, Liberty has a new application at the VMC. The architectural plans seem extremely schematic and preliminary. This site is currently a concrete batching plant, so its closure will really improve the area.

I sure hope Liberty's bad karma on the Cosmo site comes back to haunt them here

They set it too far back from the street. How is Highway 7 supposed to urbanize if developers keep doing that?

Don't judge too soon. From the landscape plans, it looks like the building will go right up to the existing pavers. There won't be any grass "buffer".

To be honest, not sure what they want the city to do. This whole saga may not have been 'moral', but it has been legal.
