Anyone happen to know why Kearns Mancini was dropped? They've been touting themselves as the preeminent firm for Passive House design in Ontario (although they've yet to actually build one), with the UTSC residence being their crown jewel...I'd love to know what happened!

Are you sure about that date? I heard it's being bid as a design-build next week? Maybe someone got the dates wrong?

I think you are correct.

I read it originally as dates for completion of the listed phase.

In point of fact, I believe they were listing what phase the proposal was at; and target dates for full completion of said building.

That would be my mistake.

Reading it in that light suggests 4 buildings are due for tender in the next short while with completion dates in 2022/2023.

The residence, the instructional centre, Indigenous House and a new parking structure.

While the Arts building and the Medical School building are further off.
