Anybody knows if any construction pending west of the proposed building? I reserved unit with west view on 11th floor of the smaller building by Adelaide.
Agent assured me that west of it some heritage buildings and nothing to be constructed there in the near future.

There will always be potential for new development to the west even though there are some heritage buildings there -- the heritage buildings could be retained/incorporated into a new tower development. The Entertainment District is quickly becoming really packed with condo buildings, most of similar height.
That south view from the pool deck will be blocked by a bunch of buildings by the time this project is completed (King Blue, Nobu, MEC & Shopper's site on King, and a proposed condo where Second City & Wayne Gretsky's are).

Unless you are across from a park, church, or specific types of buildings, views can not be guaranteed.
