From the Environmental Soil and Groundwater Investigation (in the Supporting Documents, second Geotechnical Study link):

The results of the chemical analyses conducted indicate that isolated metals impacts related to de-icing compounds (SAR) are present in the native silty clay till at borehole BH15-4 within fill and native silty clay till at a depth of 1.8 to 2.4 mbgs, which may be attributed to the former gasoline service station operations at the Subject Site.
...
In order for the site to meet the applicable MOECC Standards for RSC filing, remediation would be required to reduce soil concentrations to below acceptable levels followed by confirmatory sampling to evaluate the effectiveness of remediation.

The previous hording and fencing that was placed around the site over the past few months has been removed, only to reveal that no work has been done on site asides from that earlier soil remediation testing. As it stands now, there is some nice lush green grass but asides from that nothing.

Has Royalpark abandoned this project?

A little late, but this is the site as of February 22nd, 2019. Might swing by next week, but anyone know if this project is still going ahead?

^I completely forgot to update this thread with some pics, i'll see if I can get some whenever i'm around the area again. There has been activity going on here for the past few weeks and most of the site has been excavated. Form work should be starting shortly by the looks of it.

The site goes back deeper than I thought, I only saw it from the front end so I thought it was much closer to form work then it is. In either case, nice pic!
