* I said approximate but the pink property lines on this parcel overlap in a very unusual and confusing way.

Very interesting to still see this go ahead. Seems to have taken very long for the site to get going, and I am very curious if there is any demand for retail here, given the decent size of the retail plaza that is almost complete across the street, Malvern Town Centre, and Tapscott and Finch which all seem to have successful retail outlets and already houses large well known retail tenants. Development application with architectural plans for that plaza here, not sure if there is a thread for it: http://app.toronto.ca/AIC/index.do?folderRsn=aN/Rx1iPVmpOaP8HsWT++A==

I agree, very interesting indeed!

Most people in the neighbourhood are not willing to walk to tapscott or MTC, so these developments are great for improving the amount of retail within walking distance. 2130 Morningside will be a HUGE improvement, but I think there is still room for more :)

Also, btw, I think a Burger King and a Dominos is coming to the plaza you linked, according to the permit applications.

found this on the developers website - they have a sign posted on the site on streetview:

This is a lot better than what I would have guessed would go on this land! Hopefully, this will make waiting for the 39 slightly less depressing:) This spot is also always super windy in my experience so let's hope the extra height helps with that too

The Multi Use trail currently on Morningside before the Finch intersection is shown in the plans extended further north! Also Itd be interesting who the Anchor tenant would be here. Theres also outdoor patio space outside the proposed restaurant space, and outdoor amenity outside the office building.
Theres also underground parking as part of the plan.
