2019 Canadian Federal Election

Fixed
Elizabeth May wants to team up with Trudeau to keep the Conservatives out of government

This seems strange. Nearly Everyone in Canada views Trudeau as the most corrupt PM in living memory. Elizabeth May herself called out Trudeau during the SNC Scandal as directing the Attorney General.
Now Elizabeth May says she will team up with Trudeau.
First of all - how would she expect JWR or Jane Philpott to join the Greens when she makes this statement.
Second, how would she expect any Canadian to support her when she would support such a politically corrupt and unethical person. Despite the recent good polling numbers, it appears that May is doing everything possible to lose her support.
Even a Liberal agrees.
This is the most corrupt federal government in Canada’s history.

Corruption and scandal - all the way back to the 'Pacific Scandal" involving our first PM. It's either part of our heritage or part of partisan politics. Someone once said that Canada is a nation held together by bribery.

I am now convinced that the PPC isn't going to be a factor. They are picking crank candidates in nominally safe CPC ridings.

The Green party makes sense.

Did I not say this weeks ago? Outside of Beauce they're essentially a non-factor. I think being next-door to the live-free-or-die States of Maine and New Hampshire has a big influence on the local politics there.

Watching the Liberals, NDP and Greens cannibalize themselves while Scheer smoothly coalesces the anti-Trudeau, pro-pipeline crowd behind him will also be interesting to witness though. Ms. Philpott may very well soon learn that Markham is not analogous to Guelph or Van Island.

And now, a demonstration of how the Conservatives are covertly winning the information war:

Problem is that winning the information war is not important to the low information voter.
The Liberals have built a strong coalition of the apathetic, ignorant, and idiotic - with some corruption thrown in because somehow things have to be paid for. The CPC has yet to find a good way of appealing to them.

Can we quit with the self-congratulatory Trudeau bashing. Many many legitimate critiques to be made without sounding like your very own little echo chamber.
