The site is the northern portion of the lands previously occupied by the Hotel Dieu Niagara Health System hospital which was demolished in 2016. The southern portion of the lands were developed by Ingenuity Developments into the Seasons Retirement Community. The northern portion was owned by Fengate & LiUNA prior to Elevate.
