From Eglinton and Laird, it's VERY substantial what this building is doing to the Yonge and Eglinton Skyline. Already, this building looks to be the same height as the 30 floor office tower at Y&E Centre from that vantage point.

She's sure sprouted fast!

I wish it was becoming a multi-use street rather than just condo alley. Missed opportunities.
We are making it a priority to bring retail up Redpath and further into the neighbourhood. 155 will have 2 retail units running all the way along the east of Redpath (including a new cafe with a large terrace spilling onto the street), while 150 Redpath will have a large 24 hour diner (with large terrace also spilling onto the street), bringing a new energy and animation up the street. Near the two corners will be some amazing public art installations, that will hopefully create a new gateway into the residential center of Yonge & Eglinton. More info on the art can be found on UT below.

That's great news! The more animation at street level, the better .

Update (Today)
Quite the large tower it's become (from Mt Pleasant, north-west of site)

Street level (Construction trucks were causing some traffic issues at Redpath and Roehampton, traffic guard was on scene)

Looking up at the tower's progressing cladding:

The tower from Mt Pleasant Cemetery (North-west):

It was another chaotic day in midtown today.

Access to Redpath between Eglinton and Roehampton was restricted again this morning. I saw a poor school bus trying to turn north but was waved off. With Y&E messed up too I'm honestly not sure what a good detour route is.
On my way to work I noticed several flat bed trucks on the south side of Eglinton (outside Loblaws) with crane bits and wondered what the heck it was for.

In the afternoon Redpath was outright closed due to this:

They seem to be dismantling the crane already.

Maybe they can move it over to 150 Redpath.... or the Art Shoppe... or one of the many other projects in Midtown.
