The answer to the "Wait, where?" question is a couple blocks northwest of Rogers and Caledonia.

It's an unusual street in that it's lined with garages, like a cross between an ordinary street and a laneway.

There used to be a factory at the end of the street where you could pick up and drop off cases of pop. Each reusable hard plastic case would have 9 medium sized glass bottles. I don't remember the exact size, but it was either a 750ml or 1 litre bottle. You could get any combination of a variety of sodas like ginger ale, cola, cream soda, orange soda, and club soda, among others. It may have been operated by Italian immigrants, though I can't recall for sure. Later, they delivered the same kinds of pop in plastic cases home to home.
