From the Cover Letter:
The proposal seeks to alter and partially demolish the northern portion of the existing 4-storey apartment building. The northern portion of the existing building with direct frontage along Wilson Avenue is 3- storeys, and it is this portion of the existing building that will be demolished and redeveloped for a 12- storey apartment building. The majority of the southern portion of the existing rental building will be retained.

The owner now plans to build the 12-storey addition as a condo, not a market rental building. An additional 2 storeys are proposed to be built on top of the retained 4-storey building to replace the rental units demolished to make way for the 12-storey addition:
