I see from that picture how they might look like different shades but it depends on the time of day you walk past them and the angle you take a picture of the panels. I took this shot at 8 pm and they are all the same shade. I also added the rendering below for comparison.

The external elevator track (not sure what the technical term is) was taken down today. Looks like this build is entering the home stretch.

The scaffolding is starting to come down! The re-painted sign of “Thos. Davidson MFG” a producer of enamelware that once occupied the space definitely brings this side of the building back to life. Also, I think the new black trimmed windows look great. Very curious to see what restaurant or...

Found out from the manager that the “eat-in” area is a separate restaurant called Region and will be opening about a month after Marche Leo’s does! They will be sharing the same kitchen that Marche Leo’s will be using to prepare their meals.

It’s fine if you don’t buy it, in an ideal world everyone coming into the city would use the TTC, that’s something I’d love to see in the area as well. However, I can understand why they provided parking on the land for the time being.

Until the GO has a route parallel to the 401 and TTC subway lines extend into further boroughs of the GTA to create a more interconnected transit system, I can understand why people from out of the city visiting the Distillery with their families would opt to drive.

Looks like they’ve turned part of the property into a parking lot for the time being. The sign put up by the Rekai Center says that all proceeds from the parking fees go to charity. Good way to capitalize on the Winter Village rush at the Distillery.

I agree! It's been difficult to say based on the past few months of inconsistent activity however I hope their December deadline stays true and we can look forward to finally having a much-needed grocery store in the Canary/Corktown/Distillery District before the New Year (fingers crossed).

It looks like the refrigerators are being assembled. Two people were working on them this afternoon. Cautiously optimistic!
