I’m pretty sure the ends are the same but there are two types of middle sections. A long and short. And I’m pretty sure you can add another long segment between the short section and an end.
As much as these LRT’s are long… they’re not too wide I side. Because the floors are low for accessibility reasons; a lot of the seats sit in what are called boggie boxes. Which mesns they’re sort of raised up inside with sometimes narrow aisles.
Depending on who this tenant is; they may close at that date. Perhaps they're one of the stores in the northern end of the mall. I noticed that all the cellphone stores at that end are gone and all grouped together near the LCBO. I would image there are a handfull of stores that will make the...
Took a friend for a tour of the place about four weeks ago. He hadn't been back to the area in over 15 years. Supper depressing. He kept rushing from place top place expecting certain stores to be there only to be sorely disappointed.
I have to admit; at first I was hesitant to see this mall going. To see a lot of smaller businesses put out of their units is upsetting. But the upside to having a much more well thought out and use for this site is good to see.
I like how they are keeping the Metro and hopefully they can keep...
The Rexdale Fortinos used to be in the Albion Mall where the No Frills is. Notice the similar facade to the Queens Plate location? Also the Albion Mall location used to be smaller in the mid 90's. Before that I'm not sure. I think there was a Dominion at Albion Mall back when it was an open air...
Now that the Racetrack has a fancy new theatre/concert hall and will have restaurants and shopping... I'd advise any of the decent tenants to move there. Maybe they can redevelop the area of the current mall into some box stores.
