    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Damn these boys sure build fast!! The kiddies palying in the sandbox over at The One should take some notes 😏 But in all seriousness I still think One Yonge will be completed first.

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

And the yet to be built height is taller than any completed skyscraper in Vancouver, Burnaby, the entire GTA outside of Toronto and possibly Montreal, aside from that pointy thing on top of on Le 1250 René-Lévesque.

    Toronto Woodbine GO Station | 14.01m | 2s | Metrolinx | GHD

Interesting, looks like 6 tracks in total there 🧐 But before anyone gets excited, I assume the north and south-most tracks are just non-main service tracks.

    Toronto Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

I don't think anyone is saying they're anything special, but the towers themselves are hardly the disaster that some were claiming they would be. Agreed

    Toronto 11 YV | 213m | 62s | Metropia | Sweeny &Co

What kind of stone is that? While it's not a lot, it's still nice to see a building making use of some stone for once above the podium.

    Mississauga M3 at M City | 260.29m | 77s | Rogers Real Estate | Arcadis

Unfortunately most of them will not be built. It's sort of a like some dirty secret with the way people are avoiding talking about it on urbantoronto, but the pre-construction condo market is horrifically crashing. The number of projects on hold is probably approaching 100 by now...

Glen Road Pedestrian Bridge (Morley Callaghan Bridge)

Holy! That bridge is so wide you could drive a car (or two) over it. Not saying that I would, just saying... 😈 Do a lot of people use this route?

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

What would be the point of this Heritage station? There is litterally nothing out there. Is there future development planned for the area, and if so just how big is going to be? Please tell me they're not planning to sprawl out Brampton all the way to Georgetown...

    Vaughan Festival Condominiums | 189.05m | 59s | Menkes | Arcadis

So this is Vaughan tallest by about 2.5 inches, eh? Never thought I'd see the day a difference of a couple inches meant so little. 😌

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

The GO network as is, is absolutely incapable of providing meaningful relief to the 400-series highway network, particularly during rush hour when congestion is at its worst. While the 401 is indeed busy most of the time these days, it still moves reasonably well outside of peak hours, aside...

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

I don't know where you got that number from but that it's wrong. That looks more like the revenue during covid and even then it's low. In the 2021-22 business year revenue was 226.5 milion with only 120.5 from fares - but that was with riddership down to as low as 9% of pre-covid levels...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Could be that there wouldn't be any room for Railroad street with two extra tracks on the south side.

    Toronto Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 2) | 283.6m | 85s | Menkes | a—A

YES! YES!! YES!!!!! These buildings were absolute trash before! They would have become an incredibly boring and irreparable blight on the eastern skyline, lasting for untold generations. The new designs are far more interesting; for one they no longer looks like a five year old created them...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Interesting, so the plan is to go over(not under as I assumed) the CN "only" tracks and to add an additional pier for a 4th track over the Credit. Pretty big job. That 3rd track through Brampton will go on the north side I assume?

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

But still just 2 west of the station? Which unfortunately means we're probably looking at about double that/8 years until actual completion when factoring in all the expected delays to come.

    Toronto Woodbine GO Station | 14.01m | 2s | Metrolinx | GHD

There should be room so long as they build it on the east end of the grounds since the crossovers of the plant start just before Carlingview drive and they wouldn't build a station right on top of crossovers. Even Mimico which is the only station located entirely within a plant doesn't have any...

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Well, I'm still taller than that young'un when you measure me to the tips of my tallest hairs!! 😤

    Toronto Woodbine GO Station | 14.01m | 2s | Metrolinx | GHD

Wow it's litterally taken them almost 5 years to just come out with a rendering of the station, setting new records for the length of time needed to built a single station on this one. Notice of Commencement "The Transit Project Assessment Process (TPAP) commenced on November 21, 2019. Refer...

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

The columns here are smaller than at The One or One Yonge, so it seems they're compensating for that size difference... like men are prone to do. 😌
