    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

honestly they should just build a bi-directional cycle track with a 4 meter width. It would be a better use of the limited space, as you could consolidate the buffers space into one.

Wyecroft Rd Extension & Bridge Project (Halton / Oakville / Burlington)

sorry, how are the on street bike gutters, protected? The paint wont do much with the cyclist between the vehicles and a concrete wall. Easily could have had the bike lane on the other side of the concrete wall with pedestrians, but seems Halton region is 20 years behind Toronto.

Bruce Power: New Nuclear Generation Capacity

Yes, but the Pickering reactors are smaller than the ones at Darlington or Bruce. The Pickering Block A reactor each had around 500Mw of power production. The ones in Darlington produce 878 Mw. That's why the refurbishment was initially cancelled. The Pickering reactors were to small to justify...

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

There you go. That's the interchange plan. I was looking at it today as I though underpinning the station met it would be shallower, but its not.

Dundas West/ Bloor Mobility Hub +interconnected hub network (Metrolinx)

SO i would agree, but once the Ontario line is extended west. Odds are high there would be a station there, which is why i would rather save that name for the future. Roncesvalles is not near the current station. The street ends just before, and them "heart" of the neighbourhood is further south.

Dundas West/ Bloor Mobility Hub +interconnected hub network (Metrolinx)

They have an opportunity to rename and unify both stations. TTC and metrolinx should just name it West Bend station or Junction triangle station. Both of the neighborhoods are adjacent to the rail corridor. Naming stations after neighbors/land marks is the best way moving forward as the amount...

    Roads: Gardiner Expressway

MTO can always update a standards to have rural highway and urban highway standards. Land is expensive and having 14 meters on either side sit vacant is fine in a rural context. In a city it's a waste of resources and potential tax revenue. Build it an people will buy as has been seen with all...

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

Yes they should 100%. Something smiliar to the Morriston bypass design. 2 lanes in both directions with concrete medium. Access roads on the side and grade separate. MTO has to stop with the either they build a super highway with a 100m ROW or nothing at all.

    The Meadoway, 200ha

anyone notice that the Slow painted on the pavement is facing people travelling up the hill. I think that was a mistake as it makes way more sense to have the Slow marking for people travelling downhill.

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

Just bringing forward the renderings. Also, I like everything, but I wish they added sound barriers to the bridge, so the noise from traffic wouldn't carry very far through the ravine. I used to live by the rouge river and the noise would travel from the 401 to lake Ontario. The same sound...

    Roads: Traffic Signals

Raised crosswalks and intersections are great but not for thru routes. They are used on local or service routes. Each is a tool in the tool box, which are is most effective when used properly. Raised crosswalks on thru routes will created unnecessary congestion thinking roads such as dundas or...

    Roads: Traffic Signals

Yes so rrfb signals above the crosswalk with led lights lighting up the area underneath. But as far as I know thats not in the ontario standard. Should be though.

Toronto GO Transit: Davenport Diamond Grade Separation | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Yes but it could be organized by the community in the future. Metrolinx wouldn't care if they don't have to pay for it.

Toronto GO Transit: Davenport Diamond Grade Separation | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I like to think that the panels can have an art pieces installed on top if funding and wellness partners come forward.

    Roads: Traffic Signals

Ya toronto still has not switched to the rrfb signs that are installed all over ontario and North America. The lights are more "aggressive" which increases compliance and safety.

    Roads: Traffic Signals

So I just visited halifax and saw how little traffics lights there are. Pedestrian crossing are used very often and allow safe mid block crossing. Traffic moves effectively and is only stopped when required. I am convinced a sizable amount of congestion in Toronto is due to city council and...

Roads: Highway 401 Widening - Highway 8 to Highway 410 (MTO, U/C, Planned)

Hov lanes should be only for transit vehicles buses. They also need to be separated with flexy posts. All you do is place license plate readers at certain points and automate the enforcement for offenders
