    Eglinton East LRT | Metrolinx

Maybe that's why it was rebranded to Scarborough Rapid transit and not LRT anymore🤔

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Great pictures. Don't know why they wouldn't paint the new ramp the same green to blend it with the current bridge. At least make the guard rails green. But this city is well know for mediocrity.

https://www.thetrillium.ca/news/municipalities-transit-and-infrastructure/metrolinx-could-run-first-electric-go-trains-in-2036-leaked-document-12002512 Article from the trillium about Go fleet expansion. 2036 for the first electric train, but they want to procure EMU not electric locomotives...

Ontario Line Extension West of Ontario Place (Speculation)

I think using the hydro corridors is the better bet. Still no tunneling required and they can alway bury the wires that cant be relocated.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

worth doing in conjunction with grade separating the golden mile. Turn back at Laird Station shuttle buses in dedicated lanes to Kennedy. Not worth it if only this intersection is to be fixed. Since there is no deep bore tunnel and it would be a cut and cover and elevated, I'd say 3-4 years for...

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

The best option is to tunnel under that intersection. The don bridge is at a lower elevation than the intersection. A nice cut and cover to the Eglinton West IBM underpass would solve the issue. You can even add platforms to keep the stop there.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

After riding line 5 today. I can say for certain that the Citadis Spirits are garbage. It was a mistake for Metrolinx to switch from the Flexity's to to Spirits. The Flexitys have better acceleration, are so smooth to ride. I remember riding line 6 with it constantly vibrating like the wheels...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

This is the problem solving that the TTC should be doing. Great idea's.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

why underground? just have it on the surface on the southside. People in the city love burning tax payer money for no reason.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

why not do an elevated line after the past Bermondsey? The ROW is massive and could be build adjacent to the current tracks so the service can continue until construction is completed. Then the lrt can be transferred onto the guideway and the old ROW con be restored to a road.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

Last replay on this. But just wanted to share what can be done when towns are built for people not just cars. I would recommend this video on the change that can be accomplished with some vision. Video by Road Guy Rob

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

So we should get ride of sidewalks too, because it's a was of energy. Better to just focus on driving right, the most expensive mode of transportation. I like that. Rual communities should have no options to move around. Also why spend millions connecting roads to communities either, waste of...

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

So just like the sidewalk in the picture the snow can be removed. And it's not about cyclists utopian. It's about safe options for mobility. Just how sidewalks are built standard so people can walk, same should be for safe bike lanes. People will drive of course, but provide oppertunties for...

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

Small and easy to get around. Sounds perfect for biking, but new bike lanes are illegal in ontario, so drive baby drive.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

looking at the map, just shows how much farmland and wetlands and creeks will be demolished. Once you put the land use filter on, it gets worse. everything south of the highway will be single family homes and warehouses. Like if the area around the highway was protected and the urban boundary...

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

See think maybe Mccowan Rd with a small indoor path bridgeto the rail line. You have line 2 and line 4 terminate there plus have room for a park and ride. Usually cities have a station on the outskirts for suburban catchment.
