    Grove the previous builder didn’t tell the new builder that the city wouldn’t approve a Kingston road exit. So work has stopped for the last 5 weeks until the city and builder find a solution. TTC said no to moving their cables and the people on Wheeler said no to access that way. Also seems...

    Interim update: Grove builder has pulled out due to a disagreement- the signs have been taken down from the site. Wonder if/when he’s going to tell us about this?

    The south end piles are almost finished. More excavation on the west end (shown here, right). Next is tie backs.

    Still no piles on the south end due to site complexity of building on a hill. They rebuilt a ramp to get the pile driver down to the south end. Meanwhile, excavating on the east side (shown here) so the tie backs can start. (2 levels of tie backs). Slow and steady wins the race?

    I would say it’s financial. I checked, and there are permits for Post Lofts in the city website. And there are listings on MLS to sell them. I think it’s just delayed. Just my opinion from what I see. Builder probably needed to get one off the ground before the other started.

    Drill bits delivered. Next the south end shoring will be finished. Girders are shown on the right. The soil has been evened out to get the shoring rig into the site. Then the excavation can finish. Some hoarding is starting to go up as well.

    They aren’t finished digging, but from a plan I saw, it looks like the towns will be about 1 storey up from Wheeler judging by the stairs. I was told excavation would be done early-mid April
