    Quebec-Windsor Corridor

This isn't future election policy, simply policy recommended by party members at convention. It's not binding for election policy decision-making.

    Quebec-Windsor Corridor

I'm making a joke about how far the CPC's policy has fallen in the past six years. Poilievre has stated previously he will replace ""woke culture"" because he's nothing better to do than pander to American culture wars bullshit. Any one taking him at his word today on any policy is a fool.

Lack of meaningful Passenger Rail service outside the Quebec-Windsor Corridor

I didn't, no, I was speaking more broadly about VIA in general.

    VIA Rail

VIA emailed it out. Not sure if it's only for recent travelers,.Preference members, or both.

Lack of meaningful Passenger Rail service outside the Quebec-Windsor Corridor

I can only buy so many $11 sandwiches to drag VIA rail to solvency, but even then I don't think the ultimate goal of a service like VIA is to break-even anyway.

    Quebec-Windsor Corridor

Was VIA more or less woke six years ago compared to now? I find it difficult to imagine CPC in any form supporting billions of dollars for trains. I have also met Poilievre on more than one occasion but I would consider my interactions to be more misfortune than pleasures.

    Toronto The Whitfield | 130m | 39s | Menkes | Giannone Petricone

They go pretty quick on this. Roughly a floor/week the past two months.

    Toronto Consilium Place Arena | 20.02m | 3s | Kevric | WZMH

Looping back around on this. Does anyone know if this will have an ice plant or ability to host ice events or will this strictly be a basketball/concert/event venue?

Lack of meaningful Passenger Rail service outside the Quebec-Windsor Corridor

I'm not going to belabour this point aside from saying that we should look at places as more than simply GDP rankings on a table. If countries are able to build rail infrastructure then they're able to build it regardless of whether their earning power or whatever else is higher or lower. We...

Toronto Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport | ?m | ?s | Ports Toronto | Arup

Do you have any evidence to provide? I don't see the point in this exercise if you're simply using it to dissuade others and their opinions.

It's purely anecdotal but I can watch the planes descend and ascend all day from my place and never hear them. In my experience streetcars turning in and out of stations is magnitudes worse. Buses will shake buildings if they're going fast enough.

Lack of meaningful Passenger Rail service outside the Quebec-Windsor Corridor

I really loathe when people use "third world" as a stand-in for "poor". It's outdated terminology used wrong. Anyway, there's a trend online where people go to X country and show something cool with a comment like "Japan is really living in 2050!", but it's not really that places like Japan or...
