All the mistmatched lighting temperature... it hurts!

Not-so-green roof. That poor roof didn't stand a chance in this onslaught of heat.

CIBC trademarked a new logo earlier this year: https://uspto.report/TM/88744667 Looks to be a modern take on their old logo:

The covers/shades on the light fixtures on Platform 3 have all been removed. Anyone know why? It's just exposed light bulbs hanging from the ceiling now.

Yeah, that map places 201 in the Bay Concourse, not the Great Hall as the proposal indicates. Either way, regardless of the location, I'm happy to see it refused. Tim Hortons needs to go away.

Yeah, but it’s just not the same without the lacklustre ventilation allowing the smell of burnt toast to permeate through the concourse...

Based on Contra's timelines, it seems to be pretty well on track, maybe a little slower... They're 7 stories up from the January 6th status. Don't forget they've also been working on the cladding for the podium and lower levels.

The new escalators were rollin' this morning, but still walled off.

Toronto Scotiabank North Tower at Bay Adelaide Centre | 140.2m | 32s | Brookfield | KPMB

Just noticed this thread was renamed to "Scotiabank North Tower". Is that officially the designated name for this building? I've only seen references to Bay Adelaide Centre North. (Or has it always been named this way and I've just had my head up my ***?)

They're not, unfortunately. Brad Ross has confirmed that the city will not be investing any resources into the concrete barricades until all interior construction work at Union is complete. (Not to derail this thread. This has been discussed extensively in the Union Station thread).

It appears a number of new Presto readers are (finally!) being installed in the Bay St West teamway. They're on the west side of the teamway now, so hopefully once they're all installed, the mess of criss-crossing foot traffic will be alleviated. The stainless steel bases are roughed in, all...

If It wasn't for those photos I wouldn't have noticed from platform level. The interior glass is so dirty almost none of the light shines through.

I find Metrolinx is usually pretty consistent with which platforms and bays are used for each train line and bus. When there is a platform change, they typically announce it well in advance too.

I would argue these temporary jersey barriers are doing more harm than good, at least the way they're currently positioned. They cause congestion at the street corners, slow down pedestrian crossings, and cause people to be standing in the road for longer periods of time. I also see people...

From what I can see in the above photo, and from what we could see while the leather shop bypass was still open, the cladding on the pillars is already installed (quite some time ago). That's why some of them are covered in wood for protection. There are many areas that were unfinished and open...
