Who is suggesting that no one spoke up? You spoke up among many others that wanted the bents saved. Even I originally preferred Park Vert which retained the bents, but the jury chose Love Park instead. Your points and my points were noted, but ultimately it was decided in a different direction...

I agree, they better not remove the pond. Did you see the public survey results? Water was one of the top 3 things the public wanted. I'm sure removal of the pavilion would come first.

I imagine we should be getting an update any week now. Selection of the parks were supposed to be announced sometime in the fall, especially since York St park is scheduled to start in 2019.

I can't say this with certainty, but I suspect that companies often employ young, pretty women to attract interest to a product or service. Just a hunch though. :) Re: red splash, agree with you. I hope they keep something there to keep it from blending in with the blue/grey of the city.

I wonder what the implications would be if they made the second lane on Harbour a mixed left turn lane/straight-thru lane onto York. Perhaps that would alleviate the backlog of cars turning left onto York St, and less pressure from drivers exiting the Simcoe ramp from having to change 2 lanes over.

Big fan of either Park Vert from Agency or CCA's Love Park. Both would be wonderful options for York St.
