It’s quite surprising @Starbucks hasn’t leased a retail unit in Downtown Markham. I think the remaining units in the nexus building would be a perfect spot to open up.

It would be great if more selection of take out style restaurants were to lease in the area. Also even a store that sells grocery items. Downtown Markham needs this type of retail as you still need to drive out or walk up to Highway 7 to get more selection.

Looks like the early stages of the road building is underway between Cineplex parking lot and 407 across from Aviva. Saw bulldozers and dump trucks taking out dirt today.

Possibly Sciberras to connect Hwy 7 to Enterprise. However a number of roads should start being constructed in this area to connect Enterprise to allow for more development to continue to build.

Building more roads should be the priority here before any more buildings get built. Congestion is only going to get worse especially when Marriott and more retail shops/ restaurants open.

With all this planned retail and restaurants to open in the near future, I really hope a decently large parking lot is planned logically. With the already opened Cineplex and restaurants that operate around that complex, finding parking is a complete wreck on most evenings. As it will only...

Does anyone have any idea what the heritage house beside the park is being restored to be? It's been restored quite nicely. However it's been under renovations for years! Wonder if it will serve any purpose once it's done.
