    Toronto Ten York Street Condos | 224.02m | 65s | Tridel | Wallman Architects

Which iteration are you referring to? If you are referring to what is being built, then I disagree on both statements. The only reason why I could like Harbour Plaza is that it makes TEN YORK look even nicer.

Just wondering, what software do you use to edit existing photos to make new renders of high-rises? In the CIBC Square thread, you said used Photoshop and Gimp. Do you still stick with just those 2, or have you experimented with others?

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

The tower separation in your photos implies that the east tower is a bit further south than the west tower, compared to the renders at the top of the page which implies they are about the same when measured on Toronto's street grid, but it does give an idea how they could look like.

It was concrete. IIRC the rebar in the concrete is made of steel, and Brookfield's steel framed towers have concrete cores. Either way, there is both steel and concrete. UT

    Toronto YC Condos -- Yonge at College | 198.42m | 62s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

Because the spandrel coverage here is very high, and is most visible in the tower parts without balconies!

    Oshawa Centre

I was here earlier today and found the expansion and renovation to be fairly decent (this is personal opinion.) Also, the Teavana store (There have been complaints about their teas in the Eaton Centre thread) at this mall has permanently closed down, as they were papering the windows and added...

@enrigue8, stop using architecture as the main reason why companies should or should not locate their offices there. I have not heard much about the Union Centre lately, and Amazon's requirements include space of up to 8,000,000 square feet, which means multiple buildings, and the Union Centre...

    Toronto Sherway Gardens Expansion | ?m | 2s | Cadillac Fairview | DIALOG

What does that mean in this circumstance? If I Google search it, the results are not in a particular group. Neither I nor most Urban Torontonians would tell an administrator that's been around since non-guest members came into the forum to feel free to leave. I have yet to visit the expansion...

    Sears Canada (1952-2017)

Why do you think Sears is declining? On Urban Toronto there have been references to Eddie Lampert.

I am riled up about how our season has been going, and I have to blame the Idiots for trashing up our core. :@ Agreed. That was pathetic in that we were swept to drop the ball, even with this amount of fans. Personally, I would not consider your statements re Bautista to be of a kind that I...

Parkside Village Block Nine (MCC, Amacon, 35+24+7s+Towns, Richmond Architects)

Back when they were built, their builder would not have expected these highrises to be built.

Most developers are hasty and cheap-out on the developments in Toronto given the real estate market being hot for most of the condo boom.

    Yorkdale Shopping Centre

I have to admit that I disagree with all this. If Oxford implements a mall policy forbidding children from Yorkdale, the former would risk getting criticized by their parents for that. That is just my view though that I disagree, never call me out for this or any other of my posts.

This is getting ugly... I don't get what that means. Re: Estrada and Liriano: True but based on how they have been performing, I doubt any team would want them. Re: Bautista: For some reason the teams at the top of my head as trade destinations are: AL: Yankees NL: Dodgers It could be...

    UrbanToronto Rules Of Conduct

When I first attached it to my post, it was there, but soon, it was removed. At the bottom of the post it reads: As for what they might have against it, look at behind the pitcher's mound. TI

why new condos have a bad architecture ?

@interchange42, here is my reflection of your post (http://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threads/toronto-ten-york-street-condos-224m-65s-tridel-wallman-architects.8136/page-160#post-1210796) in the TEN YORK thread which also belongs in this thread: Maybe it is because of the spandrel that covers more...

Depends on how badly they want Dairy Queen/Orange Julius.

    Blue Jays

@syn, your posts in this thread over the course of the 2017 season have been evident of a lack of confidence in the team. Is there any reason why they are like that?
