    Toronto River City Condos Phase 3 | 99.66m | 29s | Urban Capital | Saucier + Perrotte

DKB's got a point though, the one-way thing around "Lawren Harris Square" is frustrating beyond belief, and I also feel nostalgic for when I could drive north from there on Bayview lol...

    Toronto Waterworks Building Redevelopment | 47.55m | 13s | MOD Developments | Diamond Schmitt

I went for lunch today, not super crowded but some areas had longer lineups; they were not yet running on all cylinders which added to prep time. Vit Beo will start serving on Monday. The aburi sushi is identical in quality to its sister restaurants Miku/Minami. We also had the special ramen...

    Toronto Waterworks Building Redevelopment | 47.55m | 13s | MOD Developments | Diamond Schmitt

I will definitely check this out at some point. It was exciting to see the food hall at The Well being so popular, and I imagine there will be crowds here too. Vit Beo on Bloor is super busy at nights and hopefully this extra outpost keeps the magic. Musoshin is on the Michelin Guide, no...

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

For those who are upset about too many banks, we now know for sure that the BMO down the street has closed already. Hopefully it will get a tenant or be converted to a new building.

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

So they put banners above the main floor on the Bathurst side (see photo). I also saw "House Concepts" on the Bloor side. At least we know Bestco is still committed to opening here. I went to the Petite Colline (the banner between mirvish and kitchen) just off from Steeles and Woodbine, and...

Toronto Bathurst Quay Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | Kearns Mancini

I attended a Saturday session, and then walked to various other Doors Open sites. It was grueling enough for me with an umbrella, can't imagine the kind of day Bryan and his helper had to go through. The talk was very interesting and informative, covering so many topics from the history to the...

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

I took this old photo last year, posting here so I don't have to give anyone credit lol But the mural was apparently designed by Frank Stella, The news reported he passed away last weekend. RIP https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/04/style/obituary-frank-stella-intl-hnk/index.html Does anyone know...

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

At the bottom of the price range are the studios. I agree with the other posters that this is neither super affordable nor absurdly high. Perhaps a renter might prefer a corporate landlord over a mom-and-pop who may have limited property management skills and might sell the unit or take it back...

    Toronto The Dupont | 36.55m | 9s | Tridel | Turner Fleischer

Saw this today, not sure where all the junk came from. The other photos didn't have it lol

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

The closest RBC is Bathurst and College, or Bloor and Dovercourt. Scotia has two on Bloor, at Spadina and at Dovercourt. BMO TD and CIBC are close to the Bathurst/Bloor intersection. Other than tasks that could just be done at online or at an ATM, activities that absolutely must be in-branch...

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

The other BMO branch, at Euclid and Bloor, has not been renovated for some time. It is presumably a larger space as there are offices in the basement. However, it does not offer good hours in terms of teller availability. Perhaps it will be improved in this new site.

Seaton Village / Koreatown / Christie Pits

I have been observing the progress of an OLT case near where I live, and it looks like there's more progress finally. It is for the medical building at 844 Bathurst St (north of the church), and they want to tear it down to put several "rooming house" buildings. The owner's lawyer submitted...

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

Any idea where this would have been taken from? Didn't know there was a rooftop patio like this in the Annex. Looks farther from downtown, maybe a lens effect.

Stackt Container Market (28 Bathurst St, future park)

I went to Stackt to see this (looked better in the render), but the lineup was horrendous. The entire site was jam packed with people lining up for just about everything. Thanks for sharing a closeup photo. If this place is even half as packed on a regular summer evening then it's a...

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

I found this retail brochure off google, not sure if everything is set in stone. But looks like Toronto School of Management is using up most of the commercial space. And Bestco will have a 2 storey configuration perhaps similar to the T&T at college/spadina.

    Toronto 914 Bathurst | 42.77m | 12s | Stafford | Turner Fleischer

I live down the street and belong to the local FB group. We know that this was one of the for-profit LTC homes that were seriously affected by Covid, and they ultimately decided it was too much to do the repairs required to bring this home up to snuff. For the past several months the staff...

    Toronto Harris Square | 50.29m | 13s | Urban Capital | Saucier + Perrotte

Dystopian or not, Underpass Park is constantly attracting photoshoots, people doing car videos and so on. And I received a Uniqlo flyer a while back and recognized the background there. Don't mind having this in my neighbourhood at all.

    Toronto River City Condos Phase 3 | 99.66m | 29s | Urban Capital | Saucier + Perrotte

I was walking around in the area and noticed a balcony style not seen in phase 1 and 2. There's just a concrete wall and one glass door coming out onto the balcony. Why not the usual double sliding doors? Is this just a temporary thing while they are building this?

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Would it be fair to say the upcoming plans will lead to the shutdown of the T&T supermarket? Architecturally forgetful but (for me anyway) very convenient.

Toronto Pan Am Village in the West Don Lands | ?m | ?s | DundeeKilmer | KPMB

My wife texted me this low-res image of the water works finally working at night. Hope to check it out in-person soon. My own phone camera not much better. I'm not sure if the lights in the area will always be this bright or it's just because of construction.
