I am loving the attention to details and the design work in the towers. Not only a positive for the area but for the city as a whole (for which "details" and decent streetscaping does not come easily).

This new building is, well, really ugly. Amazingly so. It has all the charm of a 1970's cheap inner suburb office building.

The TD signage is waaaay too large. The building would look so much better without it, regardless of the fact that it's oversized.

So let me get this straight: they are going to try to sell the remaining units, in this market, with these interest rates, with all the negative press, and the stench of "receivership" and the prospect of legal claims and liens and maybe the building not being completed as designed...

Does everything have to be contemporary? For me, yes. A building built today ideally should reflect (the best of?) contemporary aesthetics and ideals. Otherwise, it belongs in Walt Disney World. Be an honest reflection of the times. Is that too much to ask?

I can't be the only one here who thinks this is boring, bordering on awful. We replaced an innovated modern design with faux precast 1920s? Yuck.

Thank you for those examples and yes, I guess we are stuck with this look. One vote for "I think this is awful and really degrades an otherwise great building." but hey, someone must like this backyard toolshed look. ;)

Please please please put some cladding on the roof overhangs in the front of the building. Right now it looks like the underside of the cheapest of tin roofs. Attention to detail is everything and the details showing thus far are extremely disappointing.
