I would hope we could honour Trudeau by naming something like the planned Lake Ontario Park after him. A 1000 acre naturalized park would be a more fitting tribute than a 1 acre concrete pad, for a Prime Minister who truely enjoy the Canadian wilderness.

The strip along Yonge St. in the second photo seems so out of place. As much as I like parts of the strip, I hope most of it will be redeveloped someday. 6 - 10 Storey retail, commercial, residental mixed use would look great and add some density.

Those look like drainage pipe ditches that will be covered by whatever the surface will end up being in that section of the park.

I've always thought of 390 as a cheapened down version Eero Saarinen's CBS Building in NYC. I like 390 and the Thomson building, just wish they were both 10 storeys taller to accentuate the vertical a bit more.

I think the tower is now 56 floors + mechanical. Which would make it around 570 Ft. Would the city planning dept. have this kind of info. Would they share it with the public?
