    Never Buy from Triumph

I bought at 25 Ritchie (the building right besides yours) pre-construction 8 years ago. There were certainly some issues as you have described. In my case, most of them were resolved but they did take some time to fix. A few bait and switch tactics were used to. I have nothing to compare it to...

Roncesvalles Lofts (Triumph) - Real Estate -

I was at the final release today. The building looks quite nice and is almost fully complete. I saw a few people moving in today in fact. There were quite a few people looking at units given the terrible weather. I would say that the general feeling was quite mixed. It seems like a love/hate...

    Toronto Roncesvalles Lofts | ?m | 6s | Triumph | David Peterson

I passed by this building on the weekend and it looks to be coming along. While I like the cladding, I find it very strange that the top two floors have the green exterior un-cladded. It makes the building look unfinished and kind of cheap. It was not supposed to be that way per the rendering...

I like the way the front of the building looks with the metal cladding but Im not so big on the way the back looks.

    Toronto Roncesvalles Lofts | ?m | 6s | Triumph | David Peterson

There have only been two posts in this thread claiming it's an ugly building, both from the same poster (Automation Gallery). It looks to be developing as designed, which most people were pretty positive about

    Toronto Roncesvalles Lofts | ?m | 6s | Triumph | David Peterson

Thats good. Just had a read of the decision and still find it funny that the residents from the 8 story condo across the street were complaining.

So what would happen if the OMB declined thier 6th floor request seeing as it has already been built?? Does anyone know how OMB ruled?

    Toronto Roncesvalles Lofts | ?m | 6s | Triumph | David Peterson

Occupancy for this building has been pushed back to November and judging by the pics + lack of progress I would say thats extremely optimistic

    Toronto Roncesvalles Lofts | ?m | 6s | Triumph | David Peterson

well, my wife's best friend bought one of these units last October (i believe it was one of the last two available) Occupancy is scheduled for August 2009, but one of the issues is that they are trying to get city approval to add another floor on the building. Very nice looking project...

I thought this project was supposed to be done by end of year?? I dont see that happening now. I love the rendering on this one and am very anxious to see how it turns out.

    Feather Factory Lofts (Roncesvalles/Dundas, Plazacorp)

Ultimately, these lofts are very good for the area. More young professionals certainly wont hurt Roncesvalles. No sure why some of you Roncey residents seem so pissed off about this development--other than lost street parking:p

    Feather Factory Lofts (Roncesvalles/Dundas, Plazacorp)

Meh...these halfway houses are scattered all across the city. If you look at the crime stats Ronsecvalles is very safe compared to the rest of the city. This wouldnt dissuade me from moving to that area. It looks like someone is trying to scare off potential FFL buyers;)

    Feather Factory Lofts (Roncesvalles/Dundas, Plazacorp)

I too went to see these units on the weekends and was a bit disappointed for all the reasons already mentioned (although I was unaware of the whole zoning issue--thats just bizarre). The Roncesvalles lofts right acress the street are much nicer IMO (at least as planned as they are still...
