Why I support the TTC (sort of).

You, sir, are a navel gazer. Montreal also pays their drivers more than TTC does, and TTC still runs a much more reliable service. And if I were you, I wouldn't complain about tokens, since you just recently learned about the token discount over cash.

Whose vision of transit in Toronto do you support?

Vienna metro still does not serve the whole urban area. Not even close. S-Bahn is what serves the outer suburbs.

Whose vision of transit in Toronto do you support?

Exactly. Toronto complainers can only see subway maps for the number of different colours, not the utility.

Why I support the TTC (sort of).

if you use TTC more than once a week and pay cash, you have no right to complain about the fare price.

Airports pitch sites as all-purpose transport hubs

You still don't get it. Of course somebody can go from Martingrove to Jane, but that would be ONE trip. In your methodology, it would count as TWO trips. That's the problem.

Why I support the TTC (sort of).

Welcome to the forum, euges720. The integration between buses and subways on TTC is very highly regarded on international terms and is a big reason for its success. Yes I do consider TTC to be a successful, efficient, and well used service. It annoys me how many locals do not understand how...

Airports pitch sites as all-purpose transport hubs

Your methodology is extremely flawed. For example, if somebody goes from Kipling Station to Jane Station in one trip, then the passenger count for both Kipling and Jane Stations would go up. So in your methodology that one trip would be counted twice. And that's presuming that the station...

Airports pitch sites as all-purpose transport hubs

Doesn't this just exemplify how backwards you are going about this? You're using phony numbers and dividing them in some bizarre way which does not reflect reality. I'm serious, quit trying to play with numbers you're only making everybody roll their eyes at you.

Airports pitch sites as all-purpose transport hubs

lol. The PH in PPHPD stands for "per hour". The number of hours in a day is irrelevant. Please stop now before you embarrass yourself further.
