    Church-Wellesley Village

As someone who’s gay, I find your insistence that gay villages no longer provide a safe space both laughable and insulting. Wanting to save the country’s largest city’s gay village does not preclude us from also tackling public housing or fentanyl deaths. Also, while Drag isn’t my thing...

Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes headed downtown)

Was just on Harbord so my partner could drop into CAFE. As with every time I'm there, someone was parked in the bike lane on the north side of Harbord. I saw him come out of CAFE, get into his car and drive off. Then I watched a family with a small child on bikes almost get hit by a car...

I noticed that there is construction at the Maple Leaf Gardens Loblaws where the Nutella Cafe used to be. Anyone know if it’s being torn out, rebuilt, repurposed, etc?

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Apologies if this is not the right forum for this, but looking to see if anyone has any insight on the Union to Peterborough service? Looking to go to Peterborough on Saturday and a bit confused by the offerings. They say it'll take 3h13 to get there. 1 hour on the train to Oshawa, then an...

Curious if you’ve ever lived above floor 20 because I’m on the 29th floor with a glass balcony and ive never had an issue. It’s nice to have somewhere to step outside when you’re otherwise trapped in a small condo box. Actually would never buy a unit without a balcony just for that reason.

Yonge Street Revitalization (Downtown Yonge BIA/City of Toronto)

Has this begun? Just went down Yonge and from approx gerrard to approx king was down to 2 lanes and they were ripping up the south bound lanes. Looks like they were accessing pipes. Although I know Toronto doesn’t do things this way, it would make sense when rebuilding to rebuild it as per...

    Toronto | Ivy, The | 110.33m | 34s | Tricon | Graziani + Corazza

Maybe not, but it’s absolutely fair to lament the loss of the last major gay club. Who’s going to open up a new one now?

From yesterday. You can see on the right how the garage doors looked before they were painted, while the other two are being worked on.

Ontario Line (was Relief Line South, in Design)

Hey, whatever you need to tell yourself to justify your theft. It’s not up to me to police it. Now hopefully we can get back on topic?

Yes, yes and if the person at the market didn’t want me to steal their fruit they wouldn’t leave it unattended outside their store. No matter how you want to frame it, if you’re supposed to pay for something, and you don’t, you’re stealing. I hope the mods govern the posting of stolen...

Toronto | College Park Revitalization with Barbara Ann Scott Skate Trail | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | RAW Design

Add me to the “pro this park” group. Wasn’t sure when it first opened but seeing it full of people really brings it alive. From Sunday:
